In the course of your studies, you've become familiar with many theories. A non-university research institute like IHP offers a wide variety of opportunities to put these theories into practice!

Our vacancies, including topics for internships, mastter thesis, and PhD positions are listed on https://www.ihp-microelectronics.com/en/jobs-career/overview.html

IKZ regularly offers internships at various working groups as well as Bachelor and Master Theses, see https://ikz-berlin.softgarden.io/job/4764203?l=de

  • We are looking to grow our Silicon Photonics teams across various expertise domains, including optical device design, packaging, PDK, optical test, and high-speed circuit design.
--> Check out our open positions here:

e.g. one of the subjects of a Post-Doc position is "MBE grown topological insulator materials: characterization and device simulation":

  • Imec is a looking for first-line support assistants. And one of them could be you.

“But I don’t have a technical degree. I don’t even have any technical experience!”

That’s fine. Your technical itch is all we need. We’ll teach you how to scratch it, in a dual learning program:

  • In the classroom, we’ll give you a basic education in chemistry, electricity, electronics, mechanics and processing techniques.
  • In our cleanrooms, you’ll be getting your on-the-job training from day one.

The program takes six to eight months. And you’ll have a permanent contract from the very first day.

Ready to give in to your technical craving?

We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic young scientists to fill several Postdoctoral, Master's, and Ph.D. positions in advanced group IV semiconductor materials and devices for high-mobility electronics, photonics, quantum information, sensing and imaging, and renewable energy.
